EITM: EMPIRICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THEORETICAL MODELS
2021 EITM Summer Institute | hosted online by Duke University
Training a new generation of political scientists who integrate theoretical and empirical research to expand our understanding of politics
For nearly two decades, hundreds of graduate students in political science have participated in EITM summer institutes at universities across the country. Funded by NSF (National Science Foundation), these institutes improve participants' ability to address both theoretically and empirically a wide range of important research questions.
The 2021 EITM Summer Institute will be hosted by Duke University from July 18 through July 31. Faculty will include Scott de Marchi, Sean Gailmard, Maggie Penn and Rocio Titiunik..
The 2021 Insitute will be held virtually. We encourage applications from graduate students, postdocs, and new faculty interested in learning more about the linkages between theory and empirics, regardless of subfield. We particularly welcome applications from members of under-represented groups.
